Since 1910, when Charles Klees opened his doors across the street from Jackson Park Golf Course, Klees Golf Shop has played an important part in Chicago Golf History. By offering expert fitting, great prices and a full selection of pro-line, used and mid-priced equipment, along with women’s and junior clubs, Klees Golf Shop has served golfers for four generations.
Today, we’re located in Chicago’s historic Beverly neighborhood at 104th and Western. We’re only 20 minutes from downtown and close to I-57. Our service is nonpareil and our prices are usually as good as, or better than what you’ll find on the Internet! You don’t need an appointment for club fitting, and some repairs can be done while you wait. Feel free to call us at (773) 233-4000 for more about what’s new.

Additional Information
Klees Golf Shop is an authorized Ping Fitting Dealer and we have fitting carts for Cobra, Mizuno, Titleist and Callaway Golf. We typically stock irons in longer than standard length so a taller customer can come in, get fit for a set and walk out the next day with a set the right length and lie. If you only need the lie angle or loft or your irons adjusted we can bend irons and putters to match your swing. Stop by and have your clubs checked FREE and we can help you decide if your clubs need adjustments.
Bob Keeler says
Hi Folks, I have 1 wood (no marking) except “CHAS. J. KLEES” embossed in gold color with wood handle leather wrapped. Also 1 iron marked MID-IRON and WARANTEED HAND FORGED. They were both ownd by Mr. Day, a friend who lived in Chicago and loved golf. If living he would be over 100 years of age. OH, by the way the sole plate on the wood appears to be brass with a section of steel in the face. I plan of giving these to a friend who manages on of the Edward Jones brockerage offices. Do they have any significant value?, and who would be the likely manufacture around 1910. I’m betting Mr. Day bought them from Charlie around 1910 which makes them 100 years old. I am age 82, arrive in Chicago to go to school (De Vry N Ashland at Diversy in 1948 (GI Bill Of Rights). Left the area
(transferred to Harrisburg, Pa (State Capitol) 1977. Was there for the Preston Tucker trial (Tucker Auto). Tootsie Roll now occupies the old Chrysler plan in Cicero. Thanks in advance for helping the “old timer” from Chicago during his formative years
