The CTA Holiday Train for 2009 is coming to a station near you
Do you like Santa Claus? And trains? How about Santa Claus and his elves riding a CTA el train decked out with holiday lights, candy canes and reindeers and sleigh? The CTA Holiday Train will be arriving at an el station near you from November 21st through December 23rd.
Having seen this train several times last year, it is quite a sight. The train will travel along all of the CTA’s train lines at various times through the holiday season. Santa Claus and his elves will be passing out candy canes and good cheer. Normal fares apply.
